Karcher 7.5m Pipe & Drain Cleaning Hose Stock Number: ES953821
Clears blocked pipes and drains without the need for harsh chemicals
I have used my drain cleaner to unblock a 2-3" soakaway pipe. it has cleared the obstruction but i am unable to retrieve the pipe as it appears to have stuck fast.... any ideas has anybody experienced a similar problem. at the moment I am faced with digging up the soakaway to see what has happened
- Historically probably solved, but previous answers re:- where the end of the hose is located seem like overly-complicated solutions. For example.... If it's a 7.5 mtr hose & you have 4 mtrs from the access-point to the lance...the nozzle is 3.5 mtrs from the access-point... Ummmm?? More importantly, which direction? Marks on the hose won't help with that! You need sight of the next access-point which is not relevant for a soakaway.
- An interesting point about snagging the hose and not being able to withdraw it. I'll mark my hose at 0.5 metre intervals so at least I have an idea of where to dig if this happens.

It is possible that either debris in the pipe or a collapse of the pipe has trapped the hose. You could try to use another drain cleaner or rods to release it. This may help to identify the distance to the obstruction so reduce the amount of digging in the event you cannot release it.
The 7.5m kit fits only a limited range of washers whereas the 15m kit fits all. The connectors look the same. can u explain this please? 2 Answers
- Possibly the 15 metre kit may include several adaptors to make it compatable with other machines

Hi Chorizofan, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I've contacted Karcher who have told me that both kits fit all domestic washers. This has been corrected now, so you can order in confidence!
Would the drain unblocker work on a blocked downpipe from a gutter working vertically up from the bottom (I can't access the top)? 1 Answer

As long as there are no bends in the downpipe it should be suitable, also make sure you have enough length in the hose to reach the top.

This item would be suitable for a range of uses but is not likely to go round multiple bends on aa 1 1/2 inch diameter pipe.
There is a 90 degree bend in the pipe going under the floor and outside. Access is quite limited.

This will easily push through a 4 inch drain 90 degree bend but may need to be 'helped' by just feeding the hose in as it works along the pipe.
My drain cleaning kit has stopped working it cuts out when switched on , no water comes out at all , can it get blocked up ? When I put the lance back on it works fine , just a problem with cleaning kit 1 Answer

It sounds like the end has got blocked possibly from corrosion of the small jets. Unscrew the tip and confirm the hose is good before trying to clear the jets.
both kits fit all domestic washers - does this mean other makes, like my JCB pressure washer? 1 Answer

These can be used on any domestic pressure washer only if you can obtain an adapter to convert it from your gun to a Karcher bayonet fitting.
Is the drain hose flexible enough to go round the "s" bend of the toilet and down toward the blockage a couple of feet into the main drain.

This kit is not really designed to go around the U bend as these can be quite tight especially on some modern toilets. However because you will be close to the bend you could manually 'help it by pushing so may be able to travel down the pipe sufficiently to clear a blockage near the end of the pipe.
Hi I have an older Karcher 110 pressure washer and wanted to buy the drain unblocker attachment but dont seem to be able to remove the gun part of the handle so not sure if the drain attachment will fit. Can you help? 1 Answer

To release the lance push it 'in' to the gun and then twist to unlock and remove. If you cannot do this you may need to replace the gun assembly.

This will fit any Karcher gun that uses a bayonet fitting on the lance.
Will this part fit my appliance?
