Tumble Dryer Door Interlock

If your tumble dryer will not start, yet the relevant lights appear to be lit on the fascia panel, it could be because the door interlock has failed. If the door closes, and the wash/dry cycle is selected but still no joy - it may well be time for a new interlock.

Door locks need to be checked on a regular basis to ensure they work correctly. The door interlock is an electronic device that provides a time delay of approximately 2 minutes, once the wash/dry cycle has been completed before the tumble dryer door can be opened.
