To access the display PCB and replace it, you will first need to remove the control panel. But, before you can do this, you will need to disassemble some parts of the machine around the control panel first. Start by pulling your washing machine out so you can access the back. Then, using your 7mm socket, unscrew the three nuts that hold the top panel in place.
Once unscrewed, you can remove the top panel by sliding it back and off the machine. Then place the panel safely to one side.
Then remove the two trims on either side of the machine at the top. You can remove these by sliding them back before lifting them away.

Then unclip all the clips that hold the PCB in place around the edges.
Once unclipped, the PCB will be fully disconnected and you can remove it from the control panel.

Now you can start fitting the new display PCB! First, clip it into place inside the control panel, working your way around and clipping each clip into place individually.
Then screw the PCB into place with the two screws you removed earlier.
And then refit the electrical connection onto the PCB.
Step 5: Refit your Hoover washing machine's control panel
With the PCB fully fitted inside the control panel, you can now refit the control panel onto the machine. Start by clipping the control panel into place, making sure its attached to the washing machine by all three clips on the inside.
